ARMS - Make 2
(The arms need to be completed first so that they are ready to be attached on Round 22 of the body.)

1)  MC, 6sc
2)  2 sc in each  (12)
3)  *2sc in next, sc in next*, repeat around  (18)
4-7)  sc around  (18)
8)  *sc in next, sc dec*, repeat around
9-21)  sc around

Stuff the hand firmly, tapering off as you go up the arm so
that there is very little stuffing at the top.

22)  sc through both layers, closing the opening of the arm

LEGS - Make 2
Fasten off the first leg, but do NOT fasten off the second.

With Black
1)  Magic Ring, 6sc (6)
2)  2sc in each around (12)
3)  2sc in next, sc in next (18)
4)  2sc in next, sc in next 2  (24)
5)  sc blo in each  (24)
6)  sc in next 6, sc dec 2x's, sc4, sc dec 2x's, sc in next 6  (20)
7)  sc in next 6, sc dec 4x's, sc in next 6  (16)
8)  sc in next 6, sc dec 2x's, sc in next 6  (14)
9)  sc in next 5, sc dec 2x's, sc in next 5  (12)
10-12)  sc in each around  (12)
13)  2sc in next, sc in next 5  (14)
14)  2sc in next, sc in next 6  (16)
15)  sc in each around  (16)
Fasten off the first leg leaving a long tail, but do NOT fasten off the second.  If you are working on the second leg continue to next round.  For clarity of the instructions the leg that you fastened off will now be called Leg A and the second one will be Leg B.
16)  On Leg B sc in next 8.  Put legs up against each other and make sure both feet are facing the same direction.   Sc in the first st of Leg A and in the next 15.  Sc8 in Leg B.  You should now have both legs connected together and be back around to your first stitch.  (32)
There will most likely be a hole between the legs.  After working a few rounds of the body use the long tail from Leg A to sew this up.

BODY/HEAD
17)  sc in each around  (32)
18)  *2sc in next, sc in next 15*, repeat  (34)
19)  *2sc in next, sc in next 16*, repeat  (36)
20)  *2sc in next, sc in next 17*, repeat  (38)
21)  *2sc in next, sc in next 18*, repeat  (40)

Now is a good time to sew the hole closed that is between the legs, and begin stuffing.  You’ll want to stuff the legs firmly and begin stuffing the body.  Continue to stuff the body as you go.  Be careful not to overstuff because it will stretch the stitches and cause the stuffing to show.

37)  sc in next 3, sc dec 2x's, sc in next 9, sc dec 2x's, sc in next 6  (22)
38)  Attach arms over next 6 sts by crocheting through both the arm and the body, sc in next 5, attach 2nd arm over the next 6 sts, sc in next 5  (22)
39)  sc in next 3, sc dec, sc in next 9, sc dec, sc in next 6  (20)
40)  *sc in next 3, sc dec*, repeat  (16)
41)  *sc in next 2, sc dec*, repeat  (12)
42)  sc in each around  (12)
43)  *2sc in next, sc in next*, repeat  (18)
44)  *2sc in next, sc in next 2*, repeat  (24)
45)  *2sc in next, sc in next 3*, repeat  (30)
46)  *2sc in next, sc in next 4*, repeat  (36)
47)  *2sc in next, sc in next 5*, repeat  (42)
48)  *2sc in next, sc in next 6*, repeat  (48)
49)  *2sc in next, sc in next 7*, repeat  (54)
50-54)  sc in each around  (54)
If using safety eyes they should be attached between Rnds 53 and 54, 7 sts apart.  Mark for placement with either stitch markers or scrap yarn, then complete at least 2 more rounds before trying to attach the safety eyes.   Stuff the neck firmly before you begin decreasing. Be sure to stuff the head as you go.
55)  *sc in next 7, sc dec*, repeat  (48)
56)  *sc in next 6, sc dec*, repeat  (42)
57)  *sc in next 5, sc dec*, repeat  (36)

60)  *sc in next 2, sc dec*, repeat  (18)
61)  *sc in next, sc dec*, repeat  (12)
62)  *sc dec*, repeat  (6)

5-6)  sc in each around  (22)
Sl st to next.  Fasten off leaving a long tail.  If you are using a safety nose attach it now.  Use the tail to sew the muzzle onto the head, stuffing the muzzle lightly before it is completely attached.  (You'll probably want to try and get your nose a little straighter than mine.  ☺)
